Patient groups and interested stakeholders are invited to a webinar presented by the Australian Government Department of Health, Disability and Ageing. The webinar will be held on 23 October 2026 from 2–3 pm AEDT.
The webinar will explore how the Australian Government and the medicines industry work together to support affordable and equitable access to medicines through the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS). It will provide an overview of the Government’s strategic agreements with the medicines industry, including why they exist, what is included in the current agreements, and what they mean for patients. We will outline the process for negotiating the new strategic agreements, how patient concerns will be included, and how stakeholders can stay informed as negotiations progress.
